The Armand Bayou Nature Center is a 2,500-acre urban preserve found just by the Bay Area Boulevard. It is considered to be the country’s largest urban wilderness preserve and is an interesting destination where visitors can go canoeing and kayaking while also learning more about Texas’ wildlife and how best to conserve the environment.
