Located in the central area of Clear Lake, you will find the upscale golf course community of Bay Oaks along Clear Lake City Boulevard and just 10 minutes away from the Johnson Space Center. Spanning over 690 acres, the neighborhood is composed of around1,100 single-family homes and estates that range from 3,000 to 7,000 square feet. Established in 1988, the Bay Oaks Country Club features an 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by renowned golf course designer Arthur Hills. This private golf course spans 7,011 yards and features a lush beautiful landscape and world-class gameplay, with a slope rating of 134 and course rating of 74.7.

Schools

Schools in the Bay Oaks area are part of the highly acclaimed Clear Creek Independent School District. The district has been rated as “exemplary” by the Texas Education Agency and the schools that are in the vicinity are Falcon Pass Elementary, Space Center Intermediate and Clear Lake High School. Clear Lake High was recently awarded a Silver Medal by U.S. News & World Report magazine, which ranked it among the best high schools in the country.
