Art Blocks: The Big Bash – April 16th

The Downtown District is celebrating its inaugural art project with Art Blocks: The Big Bash. Head down to Main Street Square for an afternoon of fun-filled-festivities with something for everyone, including the Heartmade Art Market featuring some of the city’s most talented local artists, history and architecture tours, beer garden, food trucks, kids crafts and more.

Bayou City Arts Festival – April 29th through May 1st

Bayou City Arts Festival has been a staple of the Houston art scene for years. In fact, this year marks the festival’s 45th Anniversary Celebration! It doesn’t matter what your art style is, you are sure to find something you like at this annual festival in Memorial Park.  This fine, juried art festival transforms the 1.1 – mile trail of the park into a one-of-a-kind outdoor gallery.

Brazoria County Crawfish Festival – April 15th through 17th

Formerly known as the Pearland Crawfish Festival, the newly minted Brazoria County Crawfish Festival boils up tons of delicious, spicy crawfish, a world of great food, lively music, vendors, games, and more in the friendly, relaxed fun and community feel of a small town fair and serves it up big. The Festival will also have other Cajun food, vendors, carnival rides, and more!

Houston Children’s Festival – April 23rd and 24th

The McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival is celebrating its 28th year in 2016. It’s one of Houston’s signature events and has developed into one of the primary fundraisers for Child Advocates. The Festival has consistently provided high-quality educational and fun entertainment in a family friendly atmosphere. Houston Children’s Festival is number one for family fun!
